Exis by Manolesakis

Regular price £16.00

This wine brings together two regional Greek grapes of high quality that make the perfect blending partners.

The small family run operation at Manolesakis combines 60% Malagousia and 40% Assytiko for this wine. The Malagousia is incredibly aromatic, bringing fruity peach and pineapple vibes with a floral undertone of orange blossom. This is matched with the fresh citrus, crisp apple and minerally taste of the Assyrtiko.

The result is an intensely flavoured but delightfully refreshing, crisp white wine.

Why we choose it?

A Greek wine that delivers amazing value and balance, with intense aromatics that have been carefully nurtured. A modern classic blend.

Refreshing and aromatic white wine
The wine...

Exis

A great value wine with a lovely balance of flavour intensity and freshness. The grapes have been carefully handled, with a pre-ferment cool maceration to extract all the aromatics. The texture feels light with acidity, but creamy from lees maturation. Will pair well with seafood or creamy pasta. Or perfect its own as a weeknight treat.

East Macedonia

Drama is located in East Macedonia, in the Northern part of Greece. Its a historical area for wine making, and has seen a modern revival in recent years, with top wineries growing local and internal grape varieties. The summers are warm and dry, ideal for grape ripening. Whilst hilly areas provide cool enough nights to slow the pace to achieve full flavour development.
