Just Enjoy Orange, by Frigyes Bott

Regular price £31.00

This Orange wine, or skin contact white if you prefer, is a gorgeous example of just how good this style of wine can be.

The grapes are fermented for 14 days on the skins, similar to how a red wine is made. The flavours are incredible - ripe peach, and tropical mango give it an exotic taste. It’s vibrant, but also smooth and creamy - the winemaker regularly stirred the lees during maturation to create a beautifully textured wine.

Only 3,000 bottles of this wine were made, and we don’t think they’ll last long.

Why we chose it?

Eye opening flavours balanced with a soft delicate texture. Delicious.

An orange wine with beautiful balance crafted from gentle extraction of whole bunch Traminer grapes.
The wine...

Orange

The Traminer grapes (of Gewurztraminer fame) have the desired aromatics for a great Orange wine full of flavour. Here, they've been fermented on their skins for 14 days, giving a gentle extraction of colour and tannin. The result is a very balanced wine that is highly versatile - great with summary dishes or simply on its own with friends. Serve at around 13 degrees for the full flavour.
